Just a heads up that your calculation is for 1% better each day. I found it quite distracting reading this. ‘1.0' in this context = 100% — if you multiple a number by 1.01 it increases by 1% (as 0.01 is 1% of 1.0). Might be worth correcting this so that it reads 1% throughout, rather than 1.01%.
